Geographic Insights is an interdisciplinary research lab based at the Harvard Center for Population and Development Studies and the Harvard Center of Geographic Analysis within the Institute for Quantitative Social Science. We believe fine-grained data bring important insights and accountability to policy actions. We develop and apply state-of-the-art data science solutions to harness geographic data for better evidence-based policymaking.
We do not currently have any paid job positions available. However, our team is always interested in connecting with critical thinkers who have a passion for untangling data and uncovering insights. If you are a self-starter who is curious about the intersection of health and place, please reach out to us at firstname.lastname@example.org about opportunities to collaborate.
We welcome collaboration with postdoctoral researchers, visiting scholars, graduate students, and interns. Please send a cover letter that includes a brief research statement, your prospective research plan along with your CV to email@example.com for consideration. Harvard University and non-Harvard students are welcome.
We would like to thank Dr. Weixing Zhang, Weiyu Wang, and Julie Kim for working with the Geographic Insights Lab until June 2021. We thank Maya Subramanian, Mandy Yuan, and Rohail Khan for designing the logo for the Geographic Insights Lab.
